My wife and I have found that we kind of have more of a traditional style in our home. So we’ve chosen corbels that have a nice scroll to them. They look very nice and classic and they add a nice detail to our living room.

I agree with Jon. I like the scrolls. A scroll with the ancanthus leaf really looks nice. Very classy.

Many kitchens today are very simple in design so it is nice to add some more traditional detal to bring a sense of craftmanship to the overall feel. The large selection of hand-carved corbels and carvings offered by Invitinghome.com certainly allows us to pick an item we can relate two.
Just recently we addded three acanthus corbels to support our countertop overhang. Also, my wife noticed that simple pain panel right below the sink needed to be dressed up so we added a pair of Ventura Scrolls. This tied in with the corbels and made a plain cupboard face pop.

I really like the corbel in the picture. I looked around your website and I think it’s the Chicago wood bracket. Is that correct? I want to make sure before I purchase it.

Hi Paul - yes. That is the Chicago wood bracket. I have them installed in my own kitchen and they look great. I highly reccommend them.

I love the Chicago Style corbel. I don’t know what it is about it, but I just love the curve to them. I purchased some of these and had them installed on an overhang on the outside of my house. They look fantastic! Before purchasing the corbels I was wondering if people would actually notice if I made the change. Wow, did everyone notice. Almost every person that came over to my house noticed (since you do walk under them to get to the front door)

You like the chicago style bracket, but its not really my style. The corbel that i like best is the either the CF12 or the SC1. I love how there pretty simple and very blocky. I guess it all boils down to personal preference!

There really is a lot to think about when putting a corbel into the kitchen. I had to look around my room and really think about what would look good with the current style before I made a decision on which corbel should hold up my countertop. Incidentally, I actually chose the Chicago Bracket that is featured in the article/picture. I think it definitely added a nice quality to my kitchen, that’s for sure.

My wife insists on a classical feel in the kitchen, and the whole house for that matter. The scrolls in the corbel that we have chosen definitely add a good touch to create that theme. It’s a good thing there are so many choices to choose from. I’m guessing that anybody could find a corbel with any theme they may have.

I like the sleek lines that are carved into the corbels. They’re so beautiful and I love the ones that we just purchased and installed. They’re lovely.

I definitely love to have a more eclectic look to my corbels. I love taking very different styles and have them complement eachother– my opinion is that having them all exact doesnt bring about a homey atmosphere that i crave.

I like using old french styles, it brings me back to my roots. So I like the clean carvings that are made on these corbels. They bring out the detail nicely. It makes me appreciate the detail that it adds to my home.

I think that yes, the clean lines look great. They are a complete asset to my kitchen. And I love how a lot of them come in different sizes so that I can have some for my hood and some more my counters, even though they may need to be different sizes, at least they can match!

I think the selection of corbels on this site are great. I’ve been looking for a good corbel to support my mantel and I have finally found one. The clean cuts and craftmanship is great!

I just bought these cheasy little brackets from Home depot. I just returned all of them today after seeing that there are so many awesome choices on this website. I had no idea that there were websites dedicated to these types of enhancements!
