Bangor Wood Corbel

Our Bangor wood corbels are carved in deep relief with stylized leaf motif. On the sides, the corbel has graceful curves and classic scrolls design. This corbel is hand carved by skilled craftsman from premium selected hardwoods: maple, oak and cherry, and comes in three different sizes.

This corbel is carved in deep relief design to achieve the highest degree of quality and details. The Bangor corbels are triple sanded, ready to accept stain or paint. These corbels are perfect for wall applications, finishing touches on the custom cabinets or creating a dramatic focal point on your fireplace mantel.

Nestled in the Mountains of Maine are log cabins filled with history and stories. Summers in Maine are spent picking strawberries and blueberries while winters are spent carving skis and snowshoes from fallen timbers. Many of the cabins in Maine are fully furnished with hand carved wooden furniture. Most everything is made from its abundance of trees and forests. This handcrafted wooden furniture is extremely heavy and needs a great deal of support. Corbels, like the Bangor hand-carved corbel, are made the way they should be made.
