PRO TIP: In regards to Moldings for Indirect Lighting in general the closer you place them to the ceiling the more of a “beam” effect you get. The further down the wall you install the molding the more light that can escape for more of a “glow” effect. We generally recommend to come down from the ceiling the actual height of the molding – this will give a balanced look.

Polyurethane is a high-density material – it’s extremely lightweight and easy to install (and comes primed and ready to paint). It is a green material meaning it’s CFC and formaldehyde free. It is also moisture resistant — so it won’t shrink flex or mold.
